Resources are the currencies used to purchase and upgrade assets. The game has four different resources; gold, gas, mineral, and diamonds.

Gold, gas and mineral all have buildings that are used for storing and generating them.

Gold

Gold is a resource that is dug up by gold mine. Once collected it is stored in your gold storage. The amount of gold you have is displayed at the top of the screen. Gold is used to build and upgrade A-Forces, A-Force buildings, gas refinery, gas storage, mineral drill, defense wall and command center. It is also used to scan a new opponent in the raid map.

Gas

Gas is a resource that is collected by gas refinery. Once collected it is stored in your gas storage. The amount of gas you have is displayed at the top of the screen under gold. Gas is used for spawning and upgrading common bugmons, bugmon buildings, gold mine, gold storage and Mineral storage. It is also used to drill ores.

Mineral

Mineral is a resource that is collected by mineral drill. Once collected it is stored in your mineral storage. The amount of mineral you have is displayed at the top side of the screen under elixir. Mineral is used for spawning and upgrading elite type bugmons such as Elite US Bugmons, Elite Mexico Bugmons, [[Elite UK Bugmons], Elite France Bugmons and Elite Egypt Bugmons. It is also used to upgrading both tactics level and controls level.

Diamonds

Diamonds are a resource primarily gained through in app purchase (IAP). There are other ways to obtain gems, although these methods are rather slow in comparison to purchasing them in the Shop. Small numbers of gems can be obtained by drilling ores from your village, but this is random and rate of respawn of ores is quite low. Completing achievements also awards diamonds.

Diamonds can be used to purchase gold, gas, mineral, A.C.V., shields, fuels, overseers and gene chips. They can also be used to speed up upgrades, gold/gas collection.

Generally it's a good idea to save your diamonds for A.C.V., as having more A.C.V.s drastically increases the speed at which you can upgrade your base camp.
